On very high spring tides, the waders gather on a decreasingly small patch of mud until, as the water level rises, they are all forced to fly off together. Here showing thousands of Knot flying over Oystercatchers. For me, definitely the wildlife spectacle of 2019 and well worth a visit when the tides are right.
